Billing and invoices

How Track 2 Pay charges for itself, and where to find your invoices.

Last updated: July 19, 2026

Track 2 Pay charges by how many transactions you process each month. A quiet month costs less than a busy one, and the cost tracks the value you are getting rather than a headcount you have to keep updating.

Find your history under the gear icon, then your account name, then the Billing History tab.

This page is about what you pay Track 2 Pay. It has nothing to do with what you pay your clinicians — that is running a payout.

How the charge is worked out

Each month, Track 2 Pay counts the transactions processed on your account and prices them against your plan.

Plans use volume bands, often as a base amount plus an overage rate beyond it, so cost scales smoothly as the practice grows instead of jumping at a threshold.

There is also a small overage grace, so a month that edges barely over a band does not immediately push you into the next one.

New accounts start on a trial and are not charged while trialling.

The statuses

Preview — the month is still running; the figure will move as more data comes in.

Finalized — the month is closed and the amount is settled.

Non-Billable — nothing to charge, usually because you were trialling.

Once an invoice has been raised, the status becomes the invoice’s own: Draft, Pending, Paid, Voided, Uncollectible, Failed or Action Required.

When something needs your attention

Rows that need action show a button.

Pay — an invoice is outstanding.

Retry — a payment failed, usually an expired or declined card. Retry after updating the card.

Resolve — your bank has asked for extra confirmation, typically a 3-D Secure step. Follow it through and the payment completes.

If a Manage Billing button is available on your account, it opens the secure payment portal where card details are handled. Card numbers are never entered into Track 2 Pay itself.

Downloading invoices

Download PDF in the Invoice column gets you a copy for your records or your accountant.

Account statuses

Your account itself is in one of three states:

  • Trial — evaluating, not charged.
  • Active — normal, billed monthly.
  • Inactive — access suspended. Contact support.

Who can see this

Owners and Editors can see billing history and download invoices. Clinicians on the Provider role cannot see any of it.
